How can I own the system?
At the end of the 5-year lease term, ownership of the system will transfer to the homeowner for a flat fee of $250. After the transfer, the homeowner will be responsible for self-monitoring the system and should contact Aikyum Solar if any issues arise.
Do I have to make monthly payments if I sign up for your 5-year prepaid lease?
No, there are no monthly payments since your one-time upfront payment covers the full term.
Are there any liens placed on the home?
The prepay lease agreement does not place any liens on your home.
Can I qualify to get a prepaid lease agreement if I only wish to install batteries?
Yes, our program is designed for solar, solar-plus-battery, and battery-only solutions.
Can I obtain a solar loan for the down payment?
Yes, we work with several credit unions that offer solar loans. Interest rates vary depending on the loan term and your FICO score.
What type of system monitoring do you offer during the 5-year pre-pay lease term?
We will monitor your system and make sure it is up and running for 5 years if you signed our 5-year prepay lease agreement. Should there be an equipment failure, we will reach out to the manufacturer, obtain the replacement part, and replace it for no extra cost within the 5-year period.
What happens to the system ownership if I sell my home?
The system is fully transferable if you sell your home. Please email us the new homeowner’s contact information so we can send them a revised lease agreement in their name. No credit check or underwriting is required.
